Safety Standards
Kosili products undergo strict quality and safety controls for babies’ delicate skin.
Safety and Quality
Kosili is dedicated to product safety and quality because it knows that nothing is more important than your babies. Research shows that 50% of the total human population has sensitive skin. More and more children are being born with sensitive skin and tendencies toward allergies. The reasons causing this phenomenon are individual, endogenous, and exogenous factors.
Kosili Products
Kosili collection products are developed in collaboration with a team of experts, dermatologists, and pediatricians and are fully adapted to the needs of delicate baby skin, nourishing, protecting, and strengthening its defensive function. The skin is the largest organ in the human body and has the following very important functions:
- protects against external temperature changes,
- regulates body temperature,
- protective role in defending the body against injuries, external influences, and microorganisms.
Baby Skin
Baby skin is 5 times thinner compared to adult skin. Baby skin is thin and contains very little fat. The protective function of the epidermis and the acidic surface layer begin to develop in the fourth year. The metabolism of essential fatty acids, ceramides, and sterols is still developing, so the skin’s hydrolipid film is particularly sensitive. The consequence is an increase in allergic reactions as well as other negative effects in newborns.
