The ingredients we choose for Kosili products must meet the following criteria: safety,
efficacy, and user satisfaction.

Fragrances are sometimes questioned because they can contain allergenic substances for a small percentage of the population (1-2%). Kosili has chosen a fragrance that has been used for over 65 years. This fragrance contains the potential allergen citronellol (which is clearly declared on the label), and during this time, no serious cases of allergic reaction to it have been recorded.
Our experts have formulated the green line of Kosili All Natural products for very sensitive skin, which incorporates a fragrance that poses no risk of allergic reaction, being 100% allergen-free.

We do not use alcohol in our formulas.

A product is called hypoallergenic when it is formulated to minimize the risk of allergic reactions. This means that the product is formulated without common allergens or does not contain substances that most frequently cause allergic reactions.
All Kosili products are hypoallergenic.

We do not use parabens in our products.

The preservation system we use for our products takes into account a combination of ingredients that create an unfavorable environment for microbial growth (e.g., glycerin, sugar derivatives, citric acid, antioxidants) and packaging choices that limit product contact with ambient air, while also preventing contamination. Preservatives such as paraben, phenoxyethanol, triclosan, or MIT/MCIT are not used in any Kosili formula. The safety of Kosili products has been our top priority for over 65 years.

The preservative bronopol is used in legally permitted quantities, and we are currently in the process of replacing it with Microcare BDB.

Preservatives play a vital role in cosmetic products: they prevent the growth of all microbes. Specifically, cosmetic products for babies are typically used in bathrooms, and this warm, humid environment encourages the growth of bacteria and fungi. If they contaminate a skincare product, these germs can cause serious infection in the user, especially if that user is a baby. Kosili carefully selects its preservatives to ensure their effectiveness and good tolerability.

Our products do not contain aluminum salts.

Unopened, Kosili products are most effective between 24 and 36 months from the manufacturing date. Once opened, we advise you to use our products before the expiration date indicated on the packaging of each Kosili product (see pictogram).

To ensure your Kosili skincare products last longer, we recommend closing them properly after use and not transferring them to another container.

Kosili products are formulated to protect the delicate and fragile skin of babies and children. You can continue to use Kosili products throughout childhood, and even later, without risk.

Kosili products can be used from the moment your baby is born, except for those products where it is indicated otherwise. Their safety and efficacy are checked by an independent laboratory before market launch: combining efficacy, safety, and unique sensory pleasure. Kosili products are formulated to meet the daily needs of babies' and children's skin and respect its extremely sensitive nature.

All ingredients must have appropriate certifications that they are safe for use in personal care products.

After creating product formulas, we test them under laboratory conditions. An independent EU laboratory tests the formulas for possible reactions, including skin and eye irritation, with the main emphasis on verifying that the product is safe for use. Our experts test products in the laboratory, under various conditions: extreme heat, cold, humidity... This approach, fully compliant with all applicable regulations, has allowed us to guarantee safe and secure products from birth for parents and their children for over 65 years.

No, we do not practice animal testing for our products.
